Two visits to Georgia in less than four weeks? At first, it seemed like too much, now it didn’t seem like enough. But, what did I see?

The anti-Russian vibe is still evident.

On the door of Guda restaurant in Pasanauri, and yes you should go if you’re ever enroute to Tbilisi from Kazbegi.

Nightly in the capital, protesters march and beseech. They clamor for the release of the 52 or so political prisoners. “Fuck Putin” is everywhere. And on the culinary/wine side? The scene is thriving, maybe because of the friction. Adversity breeds creativity, and, the growth of natural wine pushes forward.
